Light Owl specialises in handmade lampshades, all of which we make ourselves from our workshop in the North-East of England. Originally, we produced them from our lighting shop in Darlington, but response has been so incredible that we required a separate, dedicated production area just to keep up with demand. This new production area is also our second shop located in Linthorpe, Middlesbrough. Both our shops remain open & are the best place to see all of our gorgeous designs in the flesh (Or should that be, in the fabric!).

We are a small, but highly skilled & dedicated team, who have years of experience in the home interior market, especially lighting. Our speciality is our unique double-sided lampshades, which combine a solid colour with a stunning patterned fabric. Available as both pattern lined or colour lined variations. We also produce more traditional single-sided lampshades as well as beautiful empire shades. No matter what your interior style, we have the perfect lampshade for you. And if you can’t find what you’re looking for, we have a bespoke lampshade service where we can work with you to produce stunning one-off pieces.

In addition to lampshades, we also produce our own gorgeous cushions, often in matching fabrics to our lampshades for a stylish, co-ordinated look.
